This is a group for those Glam Rock fans who cannot get enough
of The Sweet, with 70s hits such as Blockbuster, Ballroom Blitz, Fox on the Run, Wig Wam Bam, Blockbuster, Little Willy, Teenage Rampage, Hell Raiser, Love is Like Oxygen, Funny Funny. They were true innovators of exquisite CAMP. Remember that word? It meant effeminate (although not necessarily gay), outrageous, obnoxious, glitter, with tight guitar, drums, vocals. YEAH.

by GlamRock4Ever 7 months agoThere is a new book written about the Sweet, with the title "Stay Sweet, the Story of" by Hidde Paulman. It is 176pp with over 100 photos. Group members were Brian Connolly, Andy Scott, Scott Priest, and Mick Tucker.
